Candela Peru is an organization contributing to sustainable development by adding value to natural products in Madre de Dios, a poor region in Peru . For almost two decades, it has offered high quality Brazil nuts and Brazil nut oil and was a pioneer in Organic Certification.

It is presently certified Organic by Control Union. Candela has been one of the first organizations that belong to IFAT and is a registered and authorized user of the Fair Trade Label (FLO) in the category of nuts and oils.

Our wild-collected Brazil nuts have a high content of protein and minerals - notably selenium. More than 60% of its oil is poly-unsaturated fatly acids with Omega 6 holding the greatest share.
